merdata was built for one thing: making mobile data on trips outside the EU as simple as a single payment. We're a small, independent Norwegian company — Datamynt AS. No big chain, no faceless reseller. When you buy from us, you're dealing with real people in Norway.
Why we exist
Travel outside the EU and you usually face two bad options: roaming shock on your bill, or a clunky eSIM app that demands an account, a credit card and registration before you get any data at all. We thought it should be simpler. So we built merdata: pick a country, pay, and the QR code arrives in seconds. No account. No credit check. And you keep your own number.
